Swarathma
Swarathma is a contemporary Indian folk-fusion band based in Bangalore. The band released their debut album on EMI/Virgin in January 2009 and received a 4 star rating from Rolling Stone. Swarathma represents the sound of today’s India – rooted in its traditional values and culture yet willing to explore the sounds and styles of Western music.
Swarathma’s songs talk of joys and sorrows, of hope, pain and loss, optimism and despair – through experiences that are real and tangible. The sound is contemporary Indian folk, with a fusion of rock, Carnatic and jazz. Most of all, their stage act is truly an experience.
Tough on TobaccoTough on Tobacco is singer songwriter Sid Coutto’s talent packed, genre bending, convention defying, wildly funny brand new live act. The music is a mix of pop, rock and reggae.
‘Tough on Tobacco’ is an anti -tobacco message. The band advocates not to start smoking because it’s hard to quit once you start! And it’s just not worth it! The band believes that if even one young adult says no to tobacco because they heard Tough on Tobacco, they’ll be justified in their cause!
