Often hailed as India’s biggest cultural & musical export, Raghu Dixit’s unique brand of infectious, happy music transcends age, genre, and even language. His music is strongly rooted in Indian traditions and culture and is presented with a very contemporary, global sound. From their colourful lungis, a take on their cultural heritage, to their rooted and earthy sound, they have become a stellar example of modern Indian music.

Over the last 10 years, the band has played over a 1500 shows in more than 30 countries around the world including over 100,000 people in Karnataka, being featured on some of the biggest music based shows in the world including BBC’s “Later… with Jools Holland”, festivals like Glastonbury and venues like the Sydney Opera House among others.

Over the years, the band has seen some of the finest musicians in India and the rest of the world collaborate with Raghu and give his songs their unique flavour including 7 time Grammy award winner Bela Fleck and his wife Abigail Washburn, members of the British folk band, Bellowhead, sarod player, Soumik Datta among others.

Raghu Dixit makes happy music and embodies the spirit of joy at their concerts.
