The management team at Only Much Louder are:

Vijay Nair started his  career with the vague objective of doing ’something’ in the music space. This had unforeseen consequences, including the founding of India’s first independent artist management business. In between managing shows and hanging out with drunk bands, he has tried to build the foundations of a solid music events business in India, garnished with assortments such as a music festivals business, a record label and a production house. He was awarded the International Young Music Entrepreneur of the Year in 2009 by the British Council. He hopes to add to the illustrious list of successful entrepreneurs who were college dropouts.

Girish ‘Bobby’ Talwar started his career as a lawyer with a specialization in media and entertainment law. While a bassist at one of India’s biggest rock bands, Zero, he started working with Vijay and soon co-founded Only Much Louder with him. He won the Indian Young Music Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2007, starting a trend for OML. He was a judge at Channel [V]’s Launchpad, a reality show searching for India’s best rock bands. At OML, Bobby is in-charge of the Syndicate booking agency. He works with brands in creating innovative solutions for them, centered around the theme of music.

Ajay Nair joined OML in the beginning of 2010. Previously, he was the Chief Operating Officer at Spring Healthcare, a private equity fund. He has also been a business consultant with Accenture and an investment banker at Avendus previously. After five and a half years of working in strait-laced corporate environments, he figured that it’s time to help build a business at OML and introduce some discipline to the chaos here.  Ajay is in charge of strategy and finance at OML.
