Janice Sequeira is a content creator, anchor and media strategist. She is the creator and anchor of the popular YouTube talk-show series, “Social Media Star With Janice”, where she pairs Internet sensations with mainstream personalities. The show has garnered over 15 million views in a short span and has featured the likes of Dr Shashi Tharoor, Vicky Kaushal, Karan Johar, Taapsee Pannu, Sonam Kapoor, RajKummar Rao, Rana Daggubati and several others.
Janice is also among the first creators in the country to be signed on by India’s number one food app, Zomato, as part of their video streaming offering, #ZomatoOriginals. Her show, “Starry Meals with Janice” is currently among the most-viewed series on the app streaming to over 50 million subscribers. She’s one half of “Mr & Mrs Binge-watch”, a podcast where Janice recommends shows to watch along with her husband and co-host, Aniruddha Guha. Janice has always experimented with innovative show formats like “Cheers to That! With Janice” which brings together the film and media industries’ coolest squads and “Social Media Star – Lockdown edition” where she has shot quarantine interviews in the most engaging manner.
Before foraying into content creation, Janice was a news editor, with over 8 years experience working at the India Today Group, Network 18 and Times Now, where she was the Entertainment Editor for over six years.
