Rohan Joshi is an Indian stand-up comedian, writer and content producer. He’s been one of the most recognisable faces on the circuit since his debut in 2010. In 2012 he was a part of the creation of the viral internet sensation (AND one of India’s first independent YouTube channels) AIB, along with Tanmay Bhat, Gursimran Khamba and Ashish Shakya. Aside from the group’s hilarious videos, they also produced and starred in the AIB Knockout, a blockbuster, conversation (and, sigh, news-cycle starting) celebrity roast that remains a landmark event for the comedy scene in India. Rohan also produced, wrote and starred in On Air With AIB, a biting and uncompromising news comedy and satire show that ran on Hotstar for three seasons.
Rohan is also active and popular on Instagram as mojorojo. (Like, share, follow, etc etc). In the last few years Rohan’s been working the national and international stand-up circuit with shows in places as diverse as the UK, Dubai, Singapore and Australia.
Rohan Joshi’s first stand-up special, ‘Wake N Bake‘ is about life in his thirties, the Indian education system, home renovation and marijuana legalization. The special made a worldwide release on Amazon Prime Video in January 2020. Rohan currently lives in Mumbai with his two cats and little hope.
