Supriya Joshi, known online as her moniker Supaarwoman is a writer, stand up comic and caped crusader battling the pointlessness of life, one meme at a time. She covers a wide variety of topics from PCOS to why Govinda might actually be the messiah who saves us all. She began her career in comedy when she became a viral hit on Vine. She has been a writer for AIB, and has written well-known sketches like A Woman’s Besties, If Apps Were People and has also appeared in several of their videos as well.
She has appeared as a cast member of the comedy TV show – Queens vs Kings in 2017. She has also written shows like Midnight Misadventures with Mallika Dua and The Brand New Show. Supriya was also a top 5 finalists of Comicstaan Season 2, and has since become popular for her characters Siddhant Chlamydia and the singing stand up comedian, Manorama Pednekar. Her stand up comedy transcends the traditional set up-punch line style, by mixing mediums like singing and character work to her sets that leave audiences laugh every time. She also has a Netflix special – Ladies up, which is now streaming.
