80% of Filipino’s spend their time watching vlogs on YouTube. The Philippines’ is home to some of the biggest vloggers of the world who create content across genres like lifestyle, travel, fashion, art and food.
These creators not only create some of the best content that the Philippines has ever seen, but also deeply impact the youth, encouraging them to follow their passions and introducing them to some of the best things happening in pop culture. Apart from supporting musicians to build their art, we also sought support from creators belonging to different genres to expand the fan bases of these musicians.
Bacardi Sessions brought together Manila’s biggest vlogger, Wil Dasovich and Hip Hop musicians, Al James and Just Hush to create two music videos inspired by their fans and #DoWhatMovesYou.
To stir conversations around Bacardi Sessions, we roped in a pack of creators across the Philippines who were dancers, vloggers, and visual artists to support the content that musicians Al James and Just Hush were making under the platform Bacardi Sessions. These creators amplified the music videos by doing their own relevant iterations of it and linking it back to the original piece of content – the music videos. This led to a horde of new audiences getting introduced to the musicians, checking out their music videos, and hopefully converting into fans.
The music videos garnered 8MN+ views and also fuelled the growth of the hip hop community in Manila!
All this super creative content, apart from introducing Bacardi Sessions musicians to newer audiences, also imbibed Bacardi’s philosophy of #DoWhatMovesYou – the creators leveraged the art form that ‘moves’ them to support the art form that ‘moved’ the Bacardi Sessions musicians, making this campaign an incredibly inspiring initiative.
