Bacardi Holiday Club – A fitting end to Summer in South Africa

Bacardi Holiday Club 2019 was a beach themed music festival curated to give 8 South African artists a platform and an intimate experience with live audiences.

Bacardi’s appetite for local music and the celebration of artists and their hustle opened the door for us to work with the best in the game.

Throughout 2018 a lot of live sessions were recorded, music videos released and house parties hosted with upcoming and established artists.

Now it was time to give these artists an intimate audience to perform to and conclude the journey of this platform Bacardi House Party Sessions on a high note. Enters – Bacardi Holiday Club | Beach Edition.

This was the second edition of Bacardi Holiday Club was held at the Welgelegen Manor in Balfour, just an hour outside Johannesburg, from 8-10 March 2019.

This was planned as the perfect weekend get away for music lovers to unwind and dance to some of the best local South African music that was brewing in the country. From House hits to Hip Hop Club anthems to Indie musicians, the line up covered it all.

Bacardi, the party starter spirit, invited fans to leave the city lights behind and head out to the coolest house party in Johannesburg to spend 3 days at the pool, sipping ice-cold Bacardi cocktails and getting down to the latest beats from the best local artists in South Africa.

The Line-up features all 8 of our BHPS artists – Nadia Nakai, Da L.E.S, DJ Speedsta, Heavy K Drumboss, Priddy Ugly, Yung Swiss, La Flame and Moonchild Sanelly.

The supporting acts were also upcoming and promising artists from the diverse music scene in South Africa – Muzi, Ayanda MVP, DJ Milkshake, Pink Molly and Ray Squared to name a few.
