They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but a wedding photographer is worth much more. In the run-up to her wedding, photography happened to be one area where Bar Zomer didn’t want to compromise one bit. Hence for the fourth installment of her signature series “ Bar’s Wedding without compromise’ with Grey Goose, she decided to team up with renowned wedding photographer Ori Chayun, to plan out her wedding photography.
Fresh of the back of their ‘Save the date’ shoot, Bar and Ori Chayun dive straight into the planning for the wedding shoot. For Ori it’s critical to capture the event in a candid manner. To capture various moments in the wedding that would serve as memories of a lifetime. Ori stressed on the importance of the cameraman’s ability to connect with the couple and the guests in order to get the best expressions out of all the attendees. He emphasizes the importance of being a metaphorical best friend to the couple and the guests to capture the intimate, fun moments form the wedding. Along with technical knowledge of taking pictures, the social angle is also one that he and his team take seriously
For the fans watching, Ori had top tips for getting the best out of their wedding photographer. One of the tips that stood out, was his suggestion to get the brides to click hundreds of pictures of themselves. This way, they can increase their confidence in front of the camera, understand which poses work best of them, which side of their face they’d like to show more etc.
