Parody of Sauti Sol’s Extravaganza. Eric’s version took Sauti Sol’s house party concept to a hilariously exaggerated level – with chickens from his backyard, uninvited cops paying him a visit & the compromise being a classic offering of whiskey!
Trended #1 for two weeks on YouTube!
2. Patikana (2019)
Parody of Navy Kenzo & Diamond Platnumz’s ‘Katika’. Eric did a duet with his brother Fred on this one, where a night of partying with William Lawson’s doesn’t fare too well the next day when their girlfriends catch them red-handed for cheating on them!
Topped the Kenya YouTube trends at #8 on release!
3. Baba Yao (2020)
Parody of Diamond Platnumz’ Baba Lao. The original was the biggest hit from 2019 in all of East Africa & beyond. Eric saw an opportunity to tap into his inner ‘Baba Lao’ & turn it into a song of courage & strength during the COVID pandemic, with an obviously cheeky little Highlander twist in it, for good measure.

4. I Miss You/Unajua (2020)
The followup to Baba Lao, Eric picked a classic Kenyan R&B hit by local popstar Gilad Millo & turned it into his dedication to Kenya’s bars & nightlife, which people have dearly missed since the lockdown.
Shot at the popular Switch Lounge in Nairobi, the song tapped into the larger public sentiment, with fans posting nostalgia in the comments over memories of having their regular orders of grilled meat & William Lawson’s!
