adidas Originals Collision is a project that brings together some of the most exciting talents in contemporary urban street culture. These Collisions will take place around the country, putting the spotlight on fresh young b-boys, exciting graffiti artists, BMX and board sports enthusiasts, DJs, and bands. adidas Originals Collision will see b-boying battles, skateboarding and BMX showcase, live graffiti.
Iconic streetwear brand Adidas Originals brought its urban street culture movement, Adidas Originals Collision Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, and Delhi. Through a series of performances, competitions, and workshops held across the country for the remainder of the year, Adidas Originals Collision put the spotlight on young, fresh b-boys, graffiti artists, board sports enthusiasts, and musicians. This movement served as a showcase of talent, a battleground to compete and a platform for the youth to explore and learn about creative art forms and extreme sports. Adidas Originals Collision saw gravity-defying b-boying showcase, rap battles, and India’s best hip-hop DJs and turntablists coming together under one roof.
Adidas Originals Collision traveled to Mumbai at Bandra Amphitheater on 23rd November 2013, Chennai at Dublin, Sheraton Park Hotel and Tower Park, Bangalore at Counter Culture on 14th December, and finally, Delhi at the Garden of Five Senses on 21st December.
A wide selection of genres and influences included artists like Nucleya, Bombay Bassment, The Supersonics, Reji, DJ Kan-I, DI Uri, DJ SA, DJ Kave, Dualist Inquiry, Michal Menert, Low Rhyderz, Pentagram & Reggae Rajahs representing what urban subcultures stand for.
Culture enthusiasts and fashion moguls gathered to witness the best of the cultural mix of gravity-defying breakers, flawless skaters and some of the finest hip-hop music.
