Straight outta Warsaw, we created a total of 7 tracks and music videos in a collaborative effort between Bacardi and 5 of Poland’s biggest hip hop artists with our #DoWhatMovesYou campaign. We kicked off in 2019 Spring with an absolute hit from trap artist – Blacha whose music video trended at #1 on Polish YouTube and in the top 10 on Apple Music and Spotify. Given the runaway success of his first collaboration with us, we worked with Blacha again on the second track in Autumn and launched a streetwear collab with his label and Bacardi – selling out in 3 weeks. We then worked with rapper-producer B.R.O on a dance anthem for the summer – trending on YouTube once again.
We then went on to bring two of Poland’s most hyped artists together in a first – Zabson and Young Multi. Their first music video used pop-culture references and thrived on sneaker culture – smashing charts and trending as well. We then created a follow-up track, the response? We’ll let you be the judge of that through this hell of a moshpit that was caught on tape during a live performance after its release! Showing their versatility, their duo created a trap anthem with a music video that exemplified Bacardi’s philosophy of #DoWhatMovesYou.
Amazing artists, collaborations and aesthetic representations of music have managed to make Bacardi synonymous with hip hop in Poland.
We ended the year with White 2115, the ‘bad boy’ of Polish rap who created two absolute club bangers for us. His first song ‘Traproom’ took us through his journey and hustle as an artist and we ended the year with ‘Gubię Kroki’, which literally translates to ‘I Lose My Steps’ – an expression of dance and how music is the enabler.
With these amazing artists, collaborations and aesthetic representations of their music, we have managed to make Bacardi synonymous with hip hop in Poland with audiences actually waiting to see who we work with next!
