We’re along for the ride with South Africa’s prom king!

Masego Maponyane or ‘Maps’ (as he is known internationally) is a host, influencer, and, most importantly, South Africa’s prom king. Grey Goose chose to partner with Maps to share their message in his ultra-likable and friendly manner with a massive audience of over 1M on Instagram.

Maps' assortment of hats & shoes is the stuff of legend. His collection at home doubles as an art installation. You could say he's meticulous about everything, from head-to-toe.

Maps is the perfect combination of performer and achiever: he hosts several events a month, while also running his burger restaurant in Johannesburg but always manages to look sharp with minimal effort.

With his fierce ambition, he was able to bring a different quality to the luxury aspects of the Grey Goose life – the entrepreneurial spirit that inspired hundreds of his followers to comment and share their appreciation.

His hosting chops came in handy when, during the 2020 South Africa lockdown, we partnered him up with Grey Goose SA’s Brand Ambassador (Cameron Hawkins, veteran mixologist) to host an IG live ‘mix along on Easter Weekend to bring the cheer to all his fans in tough times.

He also worked with Grey Goose influencer Chef Nti to create a gourmet burger over a video call to show audiences how they could celebrate the big and small moments at home.
